A brand-new school, located in the heart of Horizon, opened when the bell rang on the 2026 school year. And the district did their homework — offering everything young minds need to grow and flourish. Like exploratory labs on each of its three floors. Two art and music rooms. A full-size gym (with robust athletics program for middle-schoolers). And lots of natural light. Oh, and there’s the whole walk-or-bike-to-school convenience, too.

Aurora Science & Tech provides stellar middle- and/or high school charter options for kids interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Both are part of DSST — a network of public, free charter schools that are among the highest-performing secondary schools in Denver and Aurora. In fact, 100% of their graduates have been admitted into college, university or post-secondary programs. (You can’t get any better than that.)
